Als Cosecha werden die Jungweine aus Rioja bezeichnet, die nur für kurze Zeit reifen. Die Trauben für diesen Wein stammen von ca. 25 Jahre alten Weinstöcken. Der hohe Anteil an Tempranillo Trauben (95%) verleiht ihm ein herrlich würziges Aroma.
Das Weingut Bodegas Hermanos Peciña wurde im Jahre 1992 gegründet und umfasst heute 50 Hektar Weinberge. Alle Trauben werden handgelesen, um die höchste Qualität der Weine zu gewährleisten. Für viele der Weine kommt während des Reifeprozesses eine spezielle Technik zum Einsatz, bei der immer wieder in ein neues Fass umgefüllt wird. Dadurch wird ein natürliches Dekantieren erzeugt und der Wein bekommt besonders volle Aromen.

Cosecha is the name for the young wines from Rioja that are only aged for a short time. The grapes for this wine are taken from ca. 25 year old vineyards. The high proportion of Tempranillo grapes (95%) gives this wine wonderfully spicy aromas.
The winery Bodegas Hermanos Peciña was founded in 1992 and consists nowadays of 50 hectar vineyards. All grapes are handpicked to guarantee the highest quality of the wines. For many of the wines the winery uses a special traditional technique to fill the wine in a different barrel every few months during the aging process. In this way, they reach a natural decanting that leads to specially intense aromas.
