Primitivo, eine der beliebtesten Rebsorten der letzten Jahre, ist der Protagonist dieses spektakulären Weins. Primitivo-Trauben sind in der Welt unter anderen Namen wie Zinfandel in den USA und Crljenak Kaštelanski in Kroatien bekannt, woher vermutet wird, dass die Traube stammt.
Dieser Primitivo unterscheidet sich geringfügig von Ihrem traditionellen Primitivo, der nur die Fruchtbombe am Anfang hat, in dem Sinne, dass er aufgrund seiner längeren Fassreifung mehr Charakter und terziäre Aromen bietet, die einen köstlichen und lang anhaltenden Geschmack verleihen.
Seit drei Generationen baut die Familie Paradiso Weinreben in Apulien an, einem Land mit uralten Weinbautraditionen. 1954 wachte Großvater Angelo, ein Bauer wie viele, die damals das apulische Land bevölkerten, nachts auf und begann im Dunkeln des frühen Morgens seinen Arbeitstag, der bei Sonnenuntergang endete. Zusammen mit seinen vier Kindern baute er seinen Traum, einen Keller, der bis heute die zentrale Keimzelle darstellt, um die sich das gesamte Unternehmen entwickelt hat.

Primitivo, one of the most popular grapes in recent years is the protagonist of this spectacular wine. Primitivo grapes are known in the world with other names such as Zinfandel in USA and Crljenak Kaštelanski in Croatia, were it is suggested the the grape originated from.
This Primitivo is slightly different than your traditional Primitivo that only has the fruit bomb at the start, in the sense that due to its longer barrel aging it offer more character and terciary flavours giving a delicious and long lasting taste.
For three generations the Paradiso family has been cultivating vines in Puglia, a land of ancient winemaking traditions. In 1954 grandfather Angelo, a farmer like the many who, at that time, crowded the Apulian countryside, woke up at night and, in the dark of the early morning, began his working day which ended at sunset. Together with his four children, he built his dream, a cellar which, still today, constitutes the central nucleus around which the entire company has developed.
