Die Weinstöcke für diesen Wein sind im Durchschnitt 40 Jahre alt. Die Trauben werden natürlich vergoren und über einen Zeitraum von insgesamt 2 Jahren in vier verschiedenen Eichenfässern gelagert, um komplexe und weitgefächerte Aromen zu erlangen.
Das Weingut Bodegas Hermanos Peciña wurde im Jahre 1992 gegründet und umfasst heute 50 Hektar Weinberge. Alle Trauben werden handgelesen, um die höchste Qualität der Weine zu gewährleisten. Für viele der Weine kommt während des Reifeprozesses eine spezielle Technik zum Einsatz, bei der immer wieder in ein neues Fass umgefüllt wird. Dadurch wird ein natürliches Dekantieren erzeugt und der Wein bekommt besonders volle Aromen.

The vineyards for this wine are in average 40 years old. The grapes are naturally fermented and then aged in oak barrels for 2 years. During this time they are hand racked 4 times by means of the traditional “barrel to barrel” method, to achieve complex and diverse aromas.
The winery Bodegas Hermanos Peciña was founded in 1992 and consists nowadays of 50 hectar vineyards. All grapes are handpicked to guarantee the highest quality of the wines. For many of the wines the winery uses a special traditional technique to fill the wine in a different barrel every few months during the aging process. In this way, they reach a natural decanting that leads to specially intense aromas.
